Vancouver Wedding Photographer – Award-winning photography by Dave Bryson

I recently watched an interview with Sue Bryce’s and was amazed by her stunning Natural Light Portraiture. I’ve been experimenting with Natural Light Portraiture for the past couple of years, but I never found anyone doing this type of portraiture full time. It was great to find someone else who shares the same philosophy about portraiture, that everyone has a good side and with the right light and angles, you can make anyone look amazing!  I’ve really been inspired to do more Natural Light Portraiture at weddings and events.

For the photo shoot with Stephanie, we were outside in open shade – no power, no extra lights – pure and simple light and shadow photography. When I first met Stephanie, we hit it off right away! The first thing I noticed was her great smile and larger than life personality.  Stephanie is a Glam Rock, Pop, singer and songwriter from Vancouver B.C. When Stephanie told me she needed a headshot for her next album, I knew this was going to be a fun shoot.

Stephanie  is one of those natural beauties that is so easy to work with, she can go from “Girl Next Door” to Marilyn in a blink of an eye.  To find out more about Stephanie, you can follow her here:
